They are looking for a Group Controller to join their team!Why Work HereAmazing opportunity to help build a team and continue to grow the portfolioMentorship 100% remote roleLots of upside to grow into a Director or even VP role in the relatively near termAbout the OpportunityCollaborate with business units to ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of financial deliverables for quarter/year-end closeIdentify areas for improvement in reporting practices and lead the implementation of consistent reporting in line with corporate requirementsDevelop and oversee training programs to improve financial acumen across the groupPerform regular reviews of account reconciliations and assess control environment to support risk management objectivesSupport multiple financial integration projects related to newly acquired business unitsPrepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders with a focus on variance analysis, key operating ratios to identify issues, opportunities, and emerging trends for business partnersEnsure business units adhere to all applicable tax laws, including federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining proper documentation to support tax filingsReview and support accounting analysis for significant transactions (new acquisitions business combination accounting, revenue recognition, etc.)Assist in corporate reorganizations (entity changes between groups) as needed to consider changes in process, controls, or day to day operations required as a result.Maintain and enhance accounting information systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reportingProvide key information to leadership to help inform decisionsBuild strong relationships across the businessProvide training and development opportunities to finance team membersAbout YouBS in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent accounting certification or qualification strongly preferred10+ years accounting/finance experience; previous controllership experience preferredProficient knowledge of internal controls and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), including project/contract accounting (percent of completion accounting)Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailExemplary personal ethics and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining confidentialityProven ability to improve processes and systems for increased efficiency and productivityHighly organized and detail-oriented, with a willingness to work flexible hours when necessarySalary Range$150,000 to $160,000/yearHow to ApplyClick the Apply Now button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
