Job Description About the Position: We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our property accounting team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of property accounting staff, ensuring the efficient operation of all properties under management. You will supervise the timely and accurate completion of annual activities such as property budgets, cash flow forecasting, final operating cost recovery adjustments, annual property taxes, and property audits. Additionally, you will review monthly and annual property accounting activities to ensure that desired results are achieved according to deadlines, GAAP, and client policies/requirements. Liaise with property site staff, leasing staff, other members of management and clients to ensure they are receiving responsive service as well as provide assistance and advice as necessary. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the team. Key Responsibilities: SUPVISE PROPERTY ACCOUNTING STAFF: Direct supervision of property accounting staff to ensure the efficient operation of all properties under management TIMELY AND ACCURATE COMPLETION OF ANNUAL ACTIVITIES: Supervise the day-to-day activities of property accounting staff to ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual activities MONTHLY AND ANNUAL PROPERTY ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES: Review of monthly and annual property accounting activities to ensure that desired results are achieved according to deadlines, GAAP, and client policies/requirements LIAISON WITH CLIENTS: Liaise with property site staff, leasing staff, other members of management and clients to ensure they are receiving responsive service as well as provide assistance and advice as necessary Required Skills and Qualifications We are looking for a highly experienced accounting professional who has a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have: A CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA) required and in good standing Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance or a related field 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity Strong background in property accounting and real estate financial reporting Proven experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, operating cost recoveries, audits, and property tax processes Demonstrated success in staff development, performance management, and team leadership Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $126,000 per year.
