Position Summary Location: Ottawa, Hybrid This is a customer-facing technical support position supporting our customers, including users, software developers, and product managers, with programming support for our products. Note: This is NOT a PC / Network Technician or IT support role. Key Areas of Responsibility Provide technical support, diagnose problems, and recommend workarounds for Thales Software Monetization customers via email, phone, or internet, including programming support for APIs and web services. Serve as the primary support liaison between the company and customers. Convey customer feedback to product development teams. Possess thorough knowledge of companys Software Monetization products used by customers. Manage customer expectations, patch delivery, and upgrades. Work alongside Professional Services and Managed Services teams to support product customizations and solutions. Develop into a Product Champion role. Minimum Qualifications Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (e.g., MSCS, BSCS). At least 5 years of experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and application support, including debugging customer application code. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. Good knowledge of networking protocols, VPN, and firewalls. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VB.NET, and/or Java, with the ability to read and write source code. Experience with building and debugging Microsoft Visual Studio projects. In-depth knowledge of Windows OS and good knowledge of Linux/UNIX. Some familiarity with Datadog and software licensing technologies. Knowledge of web servers (Tomcat, IIS), databases (SQL, MySQL), and web services. Familiarity with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Why Join Us?
