Job Title Machinist Engineer Advisor plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring high-quality programs are delivered to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tanzania. Key Responsibilities Apply extensive organizational skills to develop, integrate, coordinate, and align strategic plans that use time and resources effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with international volunteers to work on various projects, utilizing strong intra/interpersonal skills to provide high-level support and advice to managers and staff. Work with the SHARE project team to address challenges faced by SMEs, focusing on supporting women and youth-led businesses through guidance and mentorship. Develop and maintain evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. Lead analysis and documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and challenges in implementing Business Development Services (BDS) through SIDO T-LED Hubs. Write donor reports by coordinating inputs from multiple sources and facilitating internal review processes. Support the delivery of high-quality programs by assisting with strategic planning, monitoring progress, and conducting detail reviews of implementation and spending. Collaborate with the Iringa project partners to improve local growth of SMEs through knowledge and input. Study sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Measure, mark, and describe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as required. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required. Verify conformance of the finished workpiece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures. Continuously grow, learn, and apply knowledge to identify and assist with continuous improvement. Collaborate with other members of the team to achieve project goals and objectives. Ensure smooth communication among stakeholders and team members. Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference. \
