What is the opportunity? As a skilled financing specialist supporting a high-performing commercial banking team with portfolio management and compliance support, you will contribute to an exceptional client experience by providing superior business, financial, and credit advice. Your contribution to the Clients Relationship Team, and strategic partnership with the Commercial Relationship Manager, in managing the credit process, will enable more client-facing time. The successful candidate must be within commuting distance to any of the following RBC Commercial Centres: Vancouver, Langley, Kelowna, Kamloops, Victoria, Nanaimo. What will you do? Leverage superior business analysis skills to meet client expectations for credit requests and annual reviews. Provide quality business analysis and credit advice through clear presentation of advantages and benefits to the client. Demonstrate RBCs capability to deliver creative financial solutions promptly, meeting or exceeding client needs. Show a commitment to teamwork and collaboration by coaching, mentoring, and assisting colleagues to serve all clients effectively. Exercise due diligence in recommending credit applications, collaborating with Risk Management and supporting risk processes and guidelines. What do you need to succeed? Proven experience in financial and credit analysis supporting exceptional client relationship management. Minimum 3 years experience in commercial lending within a financial institution. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience with emerging digital resources and technologies (e.g., online data resources, web meetings, social media, digital banking, mobile apps). Nice-to-have Experience in risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Specialized industry expertise (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture). Post-secondary diploma/degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields. Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Whats in it for you?
