Job Title: Red Seal Carpenter Location: Moncton, NB Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Wage: $20.00/hour - $23.00/hour Key Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and codes; perform layout and material calculations. Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, floors, walls, roofs, trim, doors, and windows. Renovate, repair, and maintain structural components; inspect work and document findings. Operate and maintain hand and power tools, equipment, scaffolding, and lifting devices. Mentor apprentices and support crew coordination on site. Promote and enforce workplace safety, use PPE, and perform jobsite hazard assessments. Qualifications: Valid Red Seal Carpentry certification. Completion of a 3-4 year apprenticeship or equivalent experience. Proficiency with blueprints, building codes, and construction math (metric/imperial). Skilled in hand and power tool operation and related equipment. Strong physical fitness: able to lift (~50 lb), work at heights, and adapt to varied environments.
