Description of the Role: AECOM is seeking an energetic, passionate, self-motivated leader for the new Indigenous Program Delivery Lead (IPDL). This is a permanent full-time position reporting into a Director of Operations. The goal of this role is to improve the consistency, quality, and volume of Indigenous Projects across Canada. This includes projects directly for Indigenous Nations, projects involving an Indigenous consultation component, and projects involving Indigenous Benefits Plans. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with AECOM Canadas Project Delivery Teams to ensure Indigenous reconciliation is fully integrated at each projects phase: Proposal, Planning, Execution, and Closure. Exercise a general oversight function for the work of the Indigenous Capture Team (ICT), the Indigenous Delivery Team (IDT), the Indigenous Relations Technical Practice Group (IR-TPG) and Indigenous Vendors/Procurement Team (IVPT). Adhere to the IPDLs Terms of Reference The IPDL shall meet monthly with the Chairs of the ICT, IDT, IR-TPG and IVPT and meetings to be called by the IPDL. Keep Regional Business Line Leaders (RBLLs) informed. The IPDL will provide quarterly report to the Indigenous Relations Advisory Committee. The IPDL will sit as a member of the Indigenous Relations Advisory Committee. Qualifications Minimum requirements: A university degree or professional designation is preferred (such as project management, Indigenous studies, environmental planning), although proven practical experience is essential. 10+ years working in a similar role in the public or private sectors. High interest in Indigenous reconciliation work. Recent (over the last 2 years) experience in leading and or chairing teams, committees, working groups. Candidates must be First Nations, Inuit or Metis, and applicants must self-declare that they are A valid driver license and access to transportation is required for site and client visits. Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical, planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills: this role requires continuous interaction with Indigenous communities, project team leaders, clients, and the public. Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position. Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $125,000.00 - $175,000.00.
