Operations Manager Aerospace Manufacturing Location: Calgary, Alberta Type: Contract | 612 Months | Full-Time Pay Rate: $60 per hour Experience: 8+ yearsWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our client in the aerospace manufacturing sector based in Calgary, Alberta. This is a 6 to 12-month contract role with a competitive hourly rate of $60, offering an opportunity to lead critical production and operational initiatives within a high-performance environment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of aerospace componentsLead cross-functional teams in production, quality, logistics, and supply chain to achieve operational targetsImplement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and cost-effectivenessDevelop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and ensure accountabilityEnsure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelinesCollaborate with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goals and program milestonesQualifications:Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or production management within aerospace or advanced manufacturingStrong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of driving resultsIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100)Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environmentAdditional Information:Location: On-site in Calgary, AlbertaSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/weekContract Duration: 612 monthsCompensation: $60 per hour (contractor basis)To learn more or to apply, please contact us directly.
