REPORTS TO: Owners / Senior Management EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime, Immediate Start HOURS: MondayFriday, 9:00AM5:00PM (flexible; additional hours during peak season or inventory counts)COMPANY OVERVIEWKUUSInc. & KUUsport manufacture and distribute awardwinning summer and winter consumer products across Canada and abroad. We are a fastgrowing, entrepreneurial team looking for a leader who thrives in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment and isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves.POSITION SUMMARYYou will lead daytoday warehouse, assembly, and lightmanufacturing operations while actively working alongside your team on the floor. Success in this role means every order ships ontime, inventory is accurate, production schedules are met, and safety/compliance standards are upheld.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. HandsOn LeadershipWork shouldertoshoulder with staff on picking, packing, manufacturing, and equipment changeovers.Train, motivate, schedule, and performancemanage a team of warehouse associates.Foster a clean, safe, and positive work culture; resolve conflicts promptly.2. Planning, Scheduling & InventoryBuild and maintain daily/weekly production and labour schedules to meet customer demand.Track inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and coordinate reorders to prevent stockouts or overstock.Leverage in-house ERP systems to optimize warehouse-level inventory and planning.3. Shipping, Receiving & LogisticsOversee domestic & international shipping, customs documents, and carrier bookings along side our shipping and receiving teams.Coordinate AmazonFBA, LTL, courier, and container shipments; negotiate carrier rates and monitor OTIF.Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and putaway of inbound materials; reconcile variances.Liaise with Customer Service & Sales to align ship dates and special requirements.4. Manufacturing & QualitySupervise lightmanufacturing lines (filling, labeling, blister/seal, hand assembly).Perform basic machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance; escalate complex issues.Maintain SOPs, changeover sheets, batch records, and enforce qualitycontrol checks & GMP/PMRA/aerosol protocols.5. Health, Safety & ComplianceChampion WHMIS, OHSA, TDG, and Agrichemical Warehousing Standards; lead monthly safety meetings & inspections.Maintain SDS library, pesticide registration files, hazardouswaste manifests, forklift & racking inspections, and firstaid/CPR readiness.6. Continuous ImprovementAnalyze KPIs (throughput, pick accuracy 99%, OTIF98%) and implement 5S, valuestream mapping, and simple automation projects (barcode scanning, label printing).Collaborate with management on budget, equipment purchases, and longterm capacity planning.SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY NOT REQUIRED BUT AN ASSETMicrosoft365 suite with emphasis on Excel macros, XLOOKUP.WMS/ERP , plus EDI portals.Labelprinting software and handheld barcode scanners.Basic interfaces for filling & packaging equipment.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS3+years in a supervisory role within a warehouse, 3PL, or lightmanufacturing operation.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; quick to learn new software.Valid forklift licence (or prior use, we will provide training for new licence).Proven ability to organize people, materials, and machines in a fastpaced environment.Strong problemsolving & interpersonal skills; able to give clear direction and constructive feedback.Working knowledge of inventory control, dangerous goods handling, and shipping documentation.Able to lift up to 50lbs, stand/walk/bend throughout shift, and work at heights/ladders.PREFERRED ASSETSExperience with pesticides, aerosols, or other regulated consumer goods.Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Retail Link, or bigbox retailer routing guides.PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENTWarehouse environment; occasional outdoor work on loading dock.PPE required: safety shoes, eye protection, masks when handling aerosols.WHAT WE OFFERCompanypaid training & certification (forklift, FirstAid, etc.).
