The Division of Geriatric Medicine in Vancouver Island is a team of healthcare professionals working together to serve the unique needs of seniors. Our state-of-the-art facilities, such as the North Island Hospital in Campbell River, are designed to provide elder-friendly care. Our geriatric service offers clinical support through in-patient and out-patient consultations and follow-ups. Physicians work closely with dedicated interdisciplinary teams in most areas, including a geriatric psychiatrist in Campbell River. This ensures comprehensive care for our patients. Benefits include: Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE) Relocation Assistance: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from) Flat Fee: $9,437.76 Fee Premium: 6.09% CME: $3,000/annum year 3-4 and $6,000/annum after 4 years in the community.
