About this role: We are looking for a Manager, Accounting Advisory to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for providing guidance and support on accounting policies and financial reporting matters, including the interpretation and application of relevant accounting standards. ''> Provides advice on complex accounting considerations during the development and review of internal and external business submissions and initiatives. Prepares and reviews documentation, memos, and presentations to communicate accounting positions and recommendations to various internal and external stakeholders. Leads and supports the resolution of complex accounting issues in collaboration with departments across the organization and with external partners. Acts as a key point of contact for accounting-related advice to cross-functional teams across finance, operations, legal, and other business units. Promotes application of internal accounting policies and financial reporting standards to ensure accurate and reliable financial information. Offers subject matter expertise and daily support on technical accounting matters across the organization. Manages a team responsible for delivering accounting advisory services and addressing complex accounting challenges. Contributes to departmental priorities by supporting key projects or stepping in to assist with advisory work based on team needs and resource allocation About you: Completion of a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business. Minimum eight years of progressive experience in accounting advisory or a large public accounting firm. Accounting Designation is required (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) This position offers a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year.
