About the Role ''> This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare provider as a Financial Planning and Analysis Leader. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing leadership in areas of financial planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, and audit. You will oversee all planning, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities related to capital expenditures, play a key role in managing all aspects of the hospital''s capital funding and planning, and be responsible for the preparation of related financial reporting to leaders and committees. Key Responsibilities: Provides leadership in financial planning and analysis, accounting, internal controls, and audit. Oversight of all planning, forecasting, accounting, and reporting activities related to capital expenditures. Responsible for managing all aspects of the hospital''s capital funding and planning. Preparation of related financial reporting to leaders and committees. Managing the organization''s capital budget. Overseeing treasury activities. Co-leading a finance team of 6 members. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will require: A CPA designation. A university degree, preferably in Business or Commerce. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting in a large complex organization with minimum 2 years of finance leadership function, preferably in a healthcare setting. Prior experience in capital accounting, planning, and reporting. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of GAAP as applicable to hospitals. Knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement techniques as they relate to financial targets, timeliness, client satisfaction, and staff satisfaction. Proven ability to consolidate and summarize data in a presentation format for senior management''s review and assessment. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
