About the Clinic Our client in Vancouver, a private physician-owned clinic that promotes a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to orthopedic, spine, and musculoskeletal pain, was established in 2018. Besides offering a modern 5000 square feet space, they provide a friendly, professional, and compassionate environment for patients and physicians. The clinic has ultrasound and fluoroscopy and is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC in Procedural Pain Management. The clinic has a comprehensive range of solutions: MSP Assessment, diagnosis, pain management procedures, physiotherapy, kinesiology, use of fluoroscopy and ultrasound procedures, post-traumatic headache, knee, and hip pain. They offer multidisciplinary services with quality control, regular science rounds, and a teaching facility training residents in physiatry, family medicine, and pain fellows. Our client offers a collaborative and collegial work environment. They have 12 physicians on staff (Physiatrists, Radiologists, Sports Medicine, and currently adding Anesthesiology and Orthopedics). They are supported by Neuropsychology, physiotherapy, kinesiology, and 5 administrative employees. Job Responsibilities The Anesthesiologist will function as a key member of the team, responsible for the evaluation of patients with acute and chronic pain, post-traumatic headache patients, and use of fluoroscopy. Remuneration Fee-for-Service Split 70 / 30 Split (MSP Billings) 50 / 50 split (Private procedural work) Hours of Work Client is interested in both FT & PT Physicians No on-call duties Clinic hours are 8am-5pm Qualifications Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia Specialist training in Anesthesia.
