This second line of defense (2LOD) role is responsible for maintaining an enterprise-wide inventory of RBCs regulatory obligations and serving as the subject matter expert on RBCs Horizon Scanning, Applicability & Impact Assessment workflow processes, regulatory inventory, and associated vendor platforms. What will you do? Support the maintenance and expansion of RBCs Regulatory Obligations Inventory and serve as the SME to program stakeholders for associated RegTech platforms Maintain a centralized regulatory inventory, including taxonomy alignment with products, services, business units, and laws/regulations Monitor regulatory developments impacting RBCs operations globally and coordinate with internal program stakeholders to oversee Develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership and regulatory examiners to provide transparency on regulatory developments and compliance status Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the regulatory change management program and identify areas for improvement Serve as primary point of contact with RegTech vendor to oversee platform enhancements and escalate matters requiring resolution Execute compliance monitoring quality assurance reviews which audits the effectiveness of the internal controls as reflected in the related RCM program such as validating effectiveness of horizon scanning activities Oversight and maintenance of RBCs regulatory inventory (i.e. authoritative sources), remediation of data requiring enhancement Act as a subject matter expert on the Regulatory Content Standard and supporting procedures and processes What do you need to succeed? BA/BS Degree Required 7-10 years of compliance (or equivalent) experience obtained in a financial institution, accounting, consultancy, or law firm Certifications such as CRCM is a plus Juris Doctor as plus Familiar with regulations and compliance strategies and risk management; possesses and demonstrates expertise in the advisory, policy, change management, project management and operations Expert on RegTech platforms such as Archer, CUBE or Compliance.ai Experience building out a legal / regulatory obligations library Nice to Have Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior judgment Solution driven Ability to accept accountability, assume pro-active leadership, demonstrate initiative, and lead by example in teamwork, cross-unit co-operation, information sharing Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and oral communication skills Whats in it for you?
