Position Overview : Were searching for a Senior Technical Product Manager on our Data Platform team who can help drive the teams product vision and strategy. Youll be responsible for defining product vision roadmap and requirements working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. For achieving these objectives your charter can include (but not limited to) : Developing data products such as data ingestion systems foundational ETLs and datamart. Ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place to enable existing and future data use cases What Youll Do : Product Vision and Roadmap : Define and execute the product strategy for Data Platform products (Ingestion Streaming Storage)in Zynga aligning with business goals and customer needs Develop the product roadmap and build alignment on prioritization which drives product execution. Partner with a wide variety of data consumers (technical and business stakeholders) to understand user needs and establish success criteria with clearly measurable objectives and key results to deliver a great end-user experience. Be or become an expert in enterprise data strategies and technologies including key vendors in the space pros and cons of competing approaches and trade-offs involved with different strategies. Provide technical guidance and expertise in Analytics technologies ensuring that products are built with scalability reliability and performance in mind. Work closely with engineering design and data science teams to develop and launch products ensuring that solutions meet technical and business requirements. Innovating on novel opportunities to unlock new data-driven insights and applications to create business value across different functions and levels. Develop go-to-market and support strategies for globally distributed client teams across different studios Define and analyze metrics that inform product success & health. Communicate concisely and influence outcomes. What You Bring : Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field. Masters degree or Ph.D. preferred. Strong technical background in software development data analytics or a related field with experience working with Analytics Technologies such as data streaming systems data warehouses and data processing systems. Experience with supporting batch and streaming data consumers including visualization and machine learning use cases 8 years of experience in data product management product management or related field. A track record for high performance and team / project leadership. Proven experience delivering highly successful products with your fingerprints all over them - youre extremely proud of what youve accomplished. Experience building and launching data products and global data platforms at scale. Demonstrated experience with scoping projects collecting requirements creating product specifications carrying features from ideation to deployment. Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies and software development life cycle. Demonstrated experience in collaborating across global teams in different organizations. Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy. Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.
