They have built a reputation with their clients for delivering quality, meaning they have a healthy pipeline of repeat business/projects, they are in a growth phase and looking to hire a qualitied commercial Project Manager. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Oversee all phases of commercial tenant improvement projects, from initial design to final completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal staff. Provide guidance, resolve issues, and ensure effective collaboration. Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and implement strategies to stay within financial constraints. Approve change orders, manage invoices, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and vendors. Scheduling & Timeline Management: Create detailed project schedules, track milestones, and adjust timelines as necessary to ensure on-time project completion. Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate quality control activities. Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive steps to resolve any problems that arise. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, prepare progress reports, and keep all stakeholders informed about project status, risks, and milestones. Permitting & Compliance: Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before commencing work and that the project complies with all local codes and regulations. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial tenant improvment projects, preferably with a general contractor. Education: Bachelor''s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract negotiation, and scheduling. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project). Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations, local codes, and building standards.
