This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your outstanding leadership skills and keen knowledge of ICI building repositioning, building (and interiors) renovations and new builds, to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities while ensuring client projects are executed safely, successfully and in alignment with quality, schedule and financial goals.Your responsibilities will include:Maximize site productivity by managing and coordinating the work performance, quality and efficiency of labourers and subcontractors in relation to the sub-contract scope and overall budgetInterpret plans and specifications according to the scope of the project, ensuring compliance with working drawings and specificationsManage internal labour team and subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to the project construction schedule, scopes of work related to the sub-contract and budgetLiaise effectively and maintain regular communication with all Project Stakeholders including but limited to weekly foremans/site meetings, JHSC meetingsCreate a safe work environment by implementing strict Health & Safety guidelines on site and ensuring compliance with all related legislation and safe practicesExercise legal due diligence, including maintenance of a daily job history log, inspecting workmanship to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and identifying resources required to mitigate potential risks and hazardsOversee project close out activities, including quick resolution of deficiencies and site cleanupPlanning and implementing construction means/methods, schedules, productivity, innovations, site logistics and coordinating with all related stakeholdersOversee project close-out activities such as final inspections, deficiencies, warranty work and site demobilizationWHAT YOU BRING10+ of construction management experience, with CET, P.
