About the client:Our client is a leading roofing contractor based in Vancouver, BC proudly serving the Lower Mainland with high-quality roofing solutions for residential, commercial, and multi-unit properties. Known for their commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction, they specialize in a wide range of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and torch-on membrane applications.Due to companys expansion, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of roofing projects across Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing multiple projects from the point of sale through to final completion while overseeing scheduling, site coordination, crew supervision, client communication, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.This role requires someone with hands-on knowledge of roofing systems, ideally steep slope roofing and torch-on roofing, as well as strong organizational, communications, and entrepreneurial skills.The new hire can be located anywhere in Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley and will be able to work from their own home office while visiting job sites on a as-needed basis. The company has an office in Vancouver if necessary. Responsibilities:Manage 15 projects simultaneously, ranging from $1,000 service repairs to $600,000 multi-unit developmentsSupervise 15 roofing crews (1020 workers) depending on project volumeCoordinate daily schedules, materials, and labor across multiple sitesEnsure compliance with safety standards and building codesServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleMonitor budgets, timelines, and quality control to ensure successful project deliveryManage change orders, delays, and subcontractor coordination as neededReport regularly to senior management on project progress and performanceQualifications:5+ years of experience working with roofing systems in any capacity. Previous project management experience is an assetStrong understanding of shingle, metal, and torch-on roofing systemsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask across multiple job sitesProven ability to manage crews and maintain high performance standardsClear and professional communicator, both verbally and in writingProficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and scheduling systems is a plusValid drivers license to travel to job sites as requiredCompensation:$80,000-100,000 base salaryExtended health benefits, paid time off, car allowance or company vehicle, cellphone, laptop
