Client:My client is a well-established general contractor, they specialize in commercial TI projects ranging from $500,000 up to $10M. They have built a reputation with their clients for delivering quality, meaning they have a healthy pipeline of repeat business/projects, they are in a growth phase and looking to hire a qualitied commercial Project Manager. Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution: Oversee all phases of commercial tenant improvement projects, from initial design to final completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal staff. Provide guidance, resolve issues, and ensure effective collaboration.Budget & Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and implement strategies to stay within financial constraints. Approve change orders, manage invoices, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.Scheduling & Timeline Management: Create detailed project schedules, track milestones, and adjust timelines as necessary to ensure on-time project completion.Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate quality control activities.Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive steps to resolve any problems that arise.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, prepare progress reports, and keep all stakeholders informed about project status, risks, and milestones.Permitting & Compliance: Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before commencing work and that the project complies with all local codes and regulations.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial tenant improvment projects, preferably with a general contractor.Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Skills:Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract negotiation, and scheduling.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge of safety regulations, local codes, and building standards.Additional Requirements: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.Compensation:Salary range $100,000 - $130,000Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, retirement plans).3 weeks vacationOpportunities for career advancement and professional development.Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
