Qualifications: Bachelors degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a relatedfield. 7+ years of progressive experience in HSE management roles, with at least 3 years in the constructionindustry. Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) isstrongly preferred. Experience in managing or overseeing a Quality Management System (QMS) and its integration with HSEprograms. Comprehensive knowledge of Ontarios OHSA, WSIB processes, COR certification, and ISO 14001standards. Certification as a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) is an asset. In-depth understanding of provincial and federal HSE regulations, with experience managing HSEsystems in construction environments. Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams. Proficiency overseeing incident reporting, risk management, hazard assessment, and audit managementsystems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Proficiency in HSE management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigatingrisks.
