Together, were shaping the future of gamingone brilliant idea at a time!JOB SUMMARY:Support the Game Director and the Lead Motion Designers creative vision and follow each step of the game features choreography to enhance the players experiences. He will also be responsible for creating a wide variety of animations based on Logos, 2D/3D characters, promotional videos, and special effects to which he or she is assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Create special effects using After Effects softwareAnimates any elements in 2D or 3D in respect with specificationsExports static graphics and animations to the programming and sound departmentsModels different elements (characters, architecture, objects and others) for integration into graphic interfacesWorks on the design of promotional videosActively participates in brainstorming meetings and follows up on assigned projects from start to finishParticipates in the creation of game mechanicsImports and creates animations and assets in UnityCreates high-quality animationsWorks in collaboration with the studio, the other Game Artists, and the DirectorCoordinates features implementation with programmers, sound/music designers, game artists and mathematiciansWorks with repository structureOther responsibilities as assigned by the manager.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:College diploma (DEC) or University degree in Graphic Animation or equivalent or relevant experience in lieu5+ years of experience in motion design, preferably in the gaming industryHigh knowledge of and ability to work with After Effects softwareHigh knowledge of and ability to work with Photoshop softwareGood knowledge of 3DS Max or Maya, preferredGood knowledge of Unity, preferredKnowledge of the gaming industry, a plusDemonstrated time management skills with an ability to meet deadlinesAbility to communicate in EnglishAbility to communicate in French, a plusStrong communication skills, able to give and receive constructive feedbackAble to work independently and within a team.
