To carry out the discipline engineering functions which includes and not limited to:Perform engineering calculations, analysis, designs and sketches for steel and concrete,Liaise and co-ordinate with design team to ensure accurate 3D and 2D deliverables.Reporting on progress and budget for design workSite inspections and investigationsResponsibilitiesDesign EngineeringPerform engineering calculations, analysis and design using governing codes and standards to be fit for purposeProduce engineering reports and plansProvide drawings and/or sketches for designs to be incorporated in drawings by 3D modelers and draftersResearch design options through trade-off studiesReview, signoff and stamping of Issued for Construction drawingsProvide input into Engineering Design CriteriaAbility to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.Design IntegrationIntegrate vendor information into design processIntegration of design information between disciplines and specialist consultantsDesign ManagementCarry out site investigations and field tests as and when required and report findings.Manage the schedule (time), cost and scope on all design components on the project (discipline-specific tracking sheets).Providing discipline-specific inputs into Change Management process.Ensure Quality standards (Industry, DRA, Client, best practice) are adhered to.
