Key ResponsibilitiesReview architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project requirements.Perform detailed material take-offs.Prepare cost estimates for glazing, curtain wall, aluminum windows, doors, and other building envelope systems.Request, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and clients during the bid and pre-construction phases.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.Maintain and update pricing databases, supplier contacts, and historical project data.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations as required. Qualifications3 years of experience in estimating (glazing, cladding, curtain wall, or building envelope preferred).Post-secondary education in construction management, architectural technology, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and glazing systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, or equivalent) is an asset.
