Working in conjunction with the Order Desk Coordinator and reporting to the Operations Manager, perform administrative tasks, such as providing regular communication with customers regarding orders and concerns and acting as a liaison between internal teams. Major responsibilities include: Processing orders and invoices according to schedule. Scheduling Carrier pickups. Addressing questions and solving problems quickly with support from the Order Deck Coordinator. Supporting Customer Service / Orders Desk process daily orders and solve problems. **Order Desk Support skills and qualifications** A successful **Order Desk Support** needs to be an effective communicator with both customers and coworkers. Other required skills include: Excellent phone etiquette. Attention to detail to ensure customers receive the correct advice and support. Problem-solving skills to help customers who may experience issues. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to provide effective support to a large number of accounts. Computer skills, Excel, ability to learn new software quickly. Ability to explain products and concepts clearly and concisely to customers. Ability to work in high pressure situations with firm deadlines. Strong team work abilities, including working with multiple teams in the business including the office, warehouse staff and management.
