Accounting Operations & Financial Oversight** * Manage **full-cycle accounting**, including **accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger entries, and reconciliations**. * Prepare and analyze **financial statements, reports, and analyses** to support decision-making. * Ensure the **accuracy and integrity of financial records** while maintaining compliance with accounting principles. * Oversee **month-end and year-end closing procedures**, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. **2. Financial Reporting & Compliance** * Prepare and present **financial reports for senior management**, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. * Ensure compliance with **federal and provincial tax regulations**, including corporate tax filings and HST remittances. * Support **internal and external audits**, providing necessary documentation and ensuring audit readiness. **3. Cash Flow & Financial Planning** * Monitor **cash flow** and provide recommendations to ensure financial stability. * Assist in **budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning** with senior management. * Provide financial insights to help optimize company performance. **4. Process Improvement & Special Projects** * Identify opportunities for **streamlining accounting processes and financial reporting systems**. * Collaborate with the **Director of Sales & Finance** on special projects. * Support the **implementation of new accounting software or financial tools** as required. * Organize **regular team meetings** to review performance and identify process improvements. **5.
