**Job Description:** This role will drive efficiency through standardized processes, strong supervision, and handson support. As a key Business Central (ERP) user, the Warehouse Supervisor will process warehouse transactions, support maintenance of lot and binlevel accuracy and ensure seamless pickpackship and putaway workflows. This position will partner with the Inventory Specialist and Distribution Manager to support cycle counts, internal and external transfers, and outbound shipment coordination. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Oversee daily warehouse activities by assigning and prioritizing tasks for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and putaway. Ensure all team members follow established SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards; resolve issues or bottlenecks to maintain uninterrupted operations. * Mentor and develop the fulltime warehouse associates through regular coaching sessions, onthejob training, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by setting clear goals, recognizing achievements, and providing actionable feedback. * Execute and validate applicable transaction processing in Microsoft Business Central, including order releases, pick and packing confirmations, putaway receipts, and binlocation updates. Maintain high accuracy to support realtime inventory visibility and ontime order fulfillment. * Partner with the Inventory Specialist to plan and execute cycle counts and physical inventories. Investigate discrepancies by analyzing lotnumber histories and system reports and implement corrective measures to reduce inventory variance and uphold FIFO/LIFO compliance as needed. * Design and refine putaway strategies based on SKU velocity, dimensions, and bin capacity. Balance highdensity storage with accessibility, minimizing travel time for pickers while maximizing space utilization and operational efficiency. * Coordinate with the Distribution Manager to schedule and oversee internal transfers, raw material pickups, and outbound shipments. Troubleshoot any shipment issues, ensuring seamless handoffs and maintaining strong service levels for both production and external customers. * Serve as the Business Central warehouse super-user leading ERP training sessions, documenting process workflows, troubleshooting enduser issues, and participating in system upgrade testing to validate new features and prevent disruptions. * Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metricssuch as order accuracy, throughput per labor hour, ontime shipments, and inventory varianceprepare weekly dashboards for the Supply Chain Manager and recommend datadriven initiatives to boost productivity and quality. * Ensure safety and compliance in all warehouse operations including monitoring of forklift and WHMIS certifications for all team members, conducting regular safety audits, overseeing proper PPE usage, and leading incident investigations and followup actions to maintain a hazardfree environment. * Lead continuous improvement projects by identifying process inefficiencies, organizing crossfunctional training events, evaluating new technologies (like RF scanning or automated WMS), and driving costreduction efforts eliminating the need for seasonal staffing while enhancing service levels. * Lead the implementation of CFIA and other related food regulations and procedures impacting warehouse operations and ensure that implemented SOPs related to food safety are followed and regularly monitored. * Manage time off requests, vacation scheduling, sick call-ins and coverage strategies for the warehouse team using UKG. (HR Software). **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Completion of post-secondary education in a related field (supply chain, logistics, business) * Minimum 35 years of warehouse supervision experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment (brewery experience an asset). * Proficient with ERP systems for transaction processing and reporting specifically Microsoft Business Central * Handson expertise in pick/pack/ship operations, putaway strategies, lotnumber control, and binlocation management. * Experience with WMS platforms and conducting cycle counts or physical inventories. * Certified forklift operator and WHMIS certification; additional warehouserelated licenses or designations are a plus. * Strong leadership skills with proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate a small team. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problemsolving abilities. #### **Skills** Preferred * Leadership * Critical Thinking * Communication * Attention to Detail #### **Behaviors** Preferred * Team Player: Works well as a member of a group * Functional Expert: Considered a thought leader on a subject * Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well #### **Motivations** Preferred * Ability to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization * Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks * Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
