This hands-on role is responsible for monitoring processes are being conducted in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that CLS Catering Services Ltd. is delivery a high level of service, safety, and quality of products. Reporting To: Assistant Manager, Quality and Compliance Compensation: $40000- $45000 Annually Schedule: Monday to Sunday shift work **Job Duties** Key responsibilities include (and not limited to) the following: * Assist QA department in executing food safety and quality policies. * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Perform daily audit of various monitoring processes related to PRPs, oPRPs, and CCPs on production floor. * Perform pre-op inspection before start of shift, and conduct sanitation verification (ATP, allergen) testing as required. * Review and verify HACCP logs for completion and accuracy. * Communicate any non-conformances to the responsible monitor or department for correction and follow-up. * Compline and maintain documentation of inspection and audit results. * Monitor FIFO of food items and ensure that proper product rotation is followed. * Maintain eSpec database with ingredient specification information from suppliers. * Perform routine quality checks. * Other duties as assigned **Skills and Abilities Required** * Strong background in HACCP; Food Safety; Microbiology preferred * Minimum of one year of experience in food manufacturing * Bachelors degree in a science field, preferably food science, or college diploma with equivalent experience * Able to communicate with personnel at all levels * Detail-oriented * Proactive and self-starter * Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently * Proficiency with MS Office applications. **Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements** * Ability to provide guidance to front line and supervisory staff. * Fast-paced work environment. * Work under pressure. * High attention to detail. * Ability to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods of time * Flexible Schedule Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Discounted or free food * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Location: * Mississauga, ON (preferred) Work Location: In person
