Assistant Culinary Experience Manager As an Assistant Culinary Experience Manager (ACEM), you will set high culinary standards and ensure guests enjoy their experience through excellent food. You will lead your team in creating consistent, delicious dishes for dine-in and take-out, support back-of-house operations, and collaborate with guest experience team members. You will oversee all aspects of culinary operations in the restaurant. The ACEM is responsible for leading top-tier service and supporting the Culinary Experience Manager and Restaurant General Manager with daily operations. Proper food handling, safety, and recipe consistency are vital. This role requires physical stamina and efficiency, with a focus on team leadership, food quality, and sanitation. The ideal candidate is flexible, well-organized, a team player, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is a stepping stone to the Culinary Experience Manager and then to the Restaurant General Manager position. Compensation Culinary Experience Managers earn $50,000 annually, with a potential $2,500 bonus. Team & Department The ACEM supports kitchen leadership in delivering high-quality food, minimizing waste, and maintaining profitability. The role involves managing costs, leading a large team, and ensuring food safety and quality. The ACEM reports to the Culinary Experience Manager. Core Responsibilities Assist in kitchen setup, organization, and cleanliness Manage compliance with health and safety regulations Oversee production schedules and logistics across multiple locations Supervise kitchen staff and foster teamwork Schedule staff according to forecasted needs and budgets Ensure adherence to SOPs and standards Recruit, train, and evaluate staff for career development Handle disciplinary actions as needed Monitor and report on food and labor costs Collaborate on menu development and recipe creation Skills & Qualifications Culinary Degree or equivalent experience; Red Seal preferred At least 3 years of culinary/kitchen management experience Experience managing food and labor costs Knowledge of food production, sanitation, and safety regulations Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience in training and developing staff Ability to ensure consistency and quality Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift over 20 lbs Legal authorization to work in Canada Inclusivity We celebrate diversity and welcome applications from all backgrounds to help us make a positive impact together. #J-18808-Ljbffr
