Responsibilities Build and manage relationships with referral sources to generate new mortgage business and increase BMOs market share. Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with BMO colleagues as appropriate. Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive results. Follow all corporate policies, operating directives, and legal and regulatory requirements. Proactively contact referral sources and create local or national partnerships. Support targeted marketing initiatives and promotions. Seek cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to meet sales and profitability goals. Expand network through referrals and existing relationships. Participate in community events to enhance BMOs presence. Assist customers throughout the mortgage application process, providing exceptional service. Partner with branch teams to hand off customers and finalize documentation. Resolve issues promptly, ensuring timely fund disbursement. Provide comprehensive banking product advice and referrals. Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and customer needs. Address customer service issues and escalate complex matters. Analyze data and prepare reports to inform strategies. Maintain accurate records in internal systems. Engage with referral networks to generate new mortgage opportunities. Complete transactions in compliance with guidelines. Think creatively to propose new solutions. Work independently and support broader team goals as needed. Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent. Understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulations. Strong interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and real estate industry. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to influence and build relationships. Compensation Position is commission-based.
