Organizations worldwide rely on DataRobot for AI that makes sense for their business today and in the future. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and support features of DataRobot. Create and maintain automated unit tests and functional tests. Design infrastructure for new features with the input of peers. Manage individual projects and milestones with abundant communication of progress. Seek, give, and receive critical feedback in a constructive manner, including but not limited to code reviews. Engage in engineering on-call escalated support of services owned by the team. Deliver complex solutions on time, managing technical risks effectively. Work with product management to clarify requirements and provide technical feedback. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proven experience (3+ years up to 10+ years) writing high-quality code in Python and/or Go in a collaborative environment. Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis. Understanding of scalable, performant, and reliable software design. Experience with automated testing and test-driven development. Knowledge of large system architecture and decoupling monolithic software. Self-motivated, proactive, with a drive to learn new technologies and deliver results. Effective communication skills. Fundamental understanding of Kubernetes and Helm; experience with deploying and managing software on Kubernetes clusters. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for provisioning and configuration. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. CKAD certification. Contributions to open-source projects. Experience supporting user-facing code and APIs. Data Science experience. Identity and Access Management experience. CI/CD pipeline experience.
