In this role, you will provide a superior customer service experience to all walk-in and phone contact customers. Maintaining excellent service for both internal and external customers is essential. Responsibilities: Greet every customer personally as they enter and maintain friendly contact throughout their shopping experience. Implement suggestive selling techniques at checkout and assist with problem solving. Order out-of-stock or special items, create purchase orders, manage transfers, and follow up with customers via phone until the invoice is completed. Maintain organized files and accurate transaction records, including cash drawer management. Monitor inventory levels to ensure minimum stock and maintain a tidy store showroom appearance. Coordinate warehouse orders to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders, supporting excellent customer service. Seek out new business opportunities and rebuild old accounts through research and outreach. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation: Pay rate: $17/hr Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to work well as part of a team and willingness to work long hours when necessary. Positive, helpful demeanor and a commitment to excellent customer service.
