Job Description

Business Development Manager - Full Time Position The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new opportunities, build relationships with existing and potential clients, and develop strategies to drive business growth. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales expertise and strong communication skills. The Business Development Manager will have the ability to work from home and in office in a hybrid model and will require travel. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities (40%) Monitor and analyze referral trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Develop a strategy focused on financial growth as well as strengthening existing partnerships on national and local levels in various government and private sectors. Build and maintain relationships with clients (30%) Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community outreach programs to raise awareness and expand networks. Client Engagement: Build tailored client engagement plans for calls and meetings, focusing on understanding and addressing client needs. Develop and implement business strategies (20%) Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong revenue pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of opportunities through the sales cycle. Forecasting and Reporting: Own and maintain accurate business forecasts, providing clear visibility and predictability to sales leadership for effective decision-making. What you will need to be successful: Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Healthcare Administration or related field. 2+ years of experience in business development or sales. Sales experience in Healthcare preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of market research and analysis. Successful experience developing, implementing, and achieving results with sales and marketing strategies. Ability to conduct face to face sales appointments, cold and warm calling, including but not limited to direct-to-consumer, business, and physicians/clinicians. Strong organization and communication skills. Possess the skills to be independent, motivated, and results-driven in establishing new business, following through with communication with all accounts, and being held accountable for the growth of business. Understand the value of home and community care and how it fits into the health system. A valid drivers license and vehicle insurance is required. French fluency both verbal and written is considered an asset.
