About the Operation Our Red Lake Operation is located in an area known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949. About the role The Principal Geologist will support and mentor Mineral Resource estimation professionals at Red Lake. The role ensures resource estimation risks are identified and managed, undertaking Mineral Resource and Grade Control modelling and estimation, and collaborating on operational geological projects. Key result areas in this role include: Delivery to the Resource Estimation function across Red Lake Operations. Support and mentor Mineral Resource estimation professionals. Undertake Mineral Resource and Grade Control modelling and estimation. Collaborate on operational geological projects. About You As a Principal Resource Geologist, you will have a Bachelor''s Degree or MSc in Geoscience, with preference for postgraduate studies in Geostatistics. It is also important that you possess: Demonstrated relevant experience in a senior resource estimation role. Broad experience in production geology, mineral resource estimation for mine planning, and grade control practices. Experience in advanced-stage exploration projects and geoscience contribution to major capital project development. Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and leadership skills. Training, coaching, and mentoring experience. Experience in the development of Mineral Resource reporting systems and a good understanding of JORC code. Previous experience leading resource geologists in a similar mining operation. Ability to drive excellence and support collaboration across multiple sites.
