Responsibilities Obtain and document health histories; perform physical exams; develop care plans. Provide healthcare services for primary, acute, and complex patient care, managing overall patient outcomes. Order, perform, interpret, and collect diagnostic data. Formulate differential diagnoses and treat acute and chronic conditions. Prescribe pharmacologic, non-pharmacologic, and surgical interventions. Follow evidence-based protocols; facilitate referrals and consultations. Support patient transitions between care settings.
