Job Title

The Family Medicine Physician provides primary medical care to their full scope of practice for patients of all ages. They promote wholistic health approaches to health, is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team and a key part of the patients circle of care. They Physician will provide emergent, urgent and episodic care, chronic disease management, health promotion and disease prevention. The Physician will practice within the full scope of practice as outlined in the Standards of Practice by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Qualifications: They must have a Doctor of Medicine degree 1-2 Years Experience Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario CPR/First Aid and Mental Health First Aid certified required or willing to obtain. Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check, Drivers Abstract and proof of COVID-19 vaccination required. Experience and understanding of local Indigenous communities and culture within the Southern Region of Treaty #3.
