Continuous quality and safety improvements are inherent in this position. Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in hospital or community settings, aligned with unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia. QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN. Minimum 2 years recent Critical Care nursing experience and/or an accredited Critical Care course. Ability in arrhythmia interpretation demonstrated by at least 75% on the VIHA ECG Challenge exam. Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CRRT are assets. Skills And Abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to organize workload and prioritize tasks.
