The Industrial Engineer 2, Supply Chain plays a critical role in supporting engineered labor standards (ELS), labor management systems, and process design & optimization across our supply chain network. This role partners closely with fulfillment and distribution center leadership to ensure labor standards are accurate, sustainable, and aligned with operational best practices and should have industry intelligence to provide create solutions for process improvement to further simplify workflows and operations. This individual will apply core industrial engineering principles to design and maintain labor standards, support labor management system (LMS) configuration validations, conduct performance analysis, and identify improvement opportunities to drive workforce productivity, cost efficiency, and improve team member experience. A day in the life Support the development, validation, and maintenance of engineered labor standards (ELS) using time studies, historical data, and predetermined time systems (e.g., MOST, MSD, MTM). Detects gaps between observed time and labor standards, and develops key insights to improve productivity Collaborate with operations, labor planning, and workforce management teams to ensure labor standards are integrated into Labor Management Systems (LMS) and used effectively for performance tracking Conduct performance audits and observations to identify deviations from standards and drive corrective action or refinement. Analyze and evaluate methods for optimal operations. Outlines alternatives for processes, equipment, and system design Leads the development and rollout of standard work documents to support direct and indirect process standard adoption across the network. Develops knowledge of distribution and fulfillment best practices and engineering standards. Leverages best practices and engineering standards in the development of engineered labor standards to reduce variation in measured tasks. Collects data and performs complex data analysis to understand current state conditions that will be used to drive continuous improvement ideas, capacity analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and change initiatives and projects. Leverages continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., A3, 4DX, Lean Six Sigma) to optimize, lead, and provide supply chain solutions for current and future operations for scope projects. Utilize existing AutoCAD layouts to support mapping XYZ data mapping for warehouse travel calculations. Performs machine speed testing that involves timing various pieces of equipment horizonal, vertical, and turning speeds with a radar device. Analyze and evaluate methods for optimal operations. Outlines alternatives for processes, equipment, and system design. Works with operations, product management, and other business partners to deliver data Utilizes project management methodologies to manage launching and/or managing labor standards refreshes. You own this if you have... Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineeringor related field. Minimum of 3 years Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Experience. Prior experience with Supply Chain Distribution/Fulfillment (e-Com) environment desired. Strong working knowledge of engineered labor standards, time study techniques, and labor management systems. On site presence is required to conduct time and motion studies. Position requires 50%+ travel. Experience with AutoCAD, SQL, and UMT/Labor Pro highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both frontline team members and senior leadership. Passion for using data to improve operational performance and labor efficiency. Strong understanding and application of end-to-end Industrial Engineering discipline, processes, and tools. Weve got you covered...
