We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Lube Technician to perform routine servicing and inspections on construction equipment. This role involves oil and filter changes, basic mechanical checks, and ensuring equipment is in safe, working condition. The ideal candidate will take initiative, work independently, and provide excellent customer service while supporting the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine oil and filter changes on a wide range of construction equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, and compactors, ensuring manufacturer specifications and maintenance schedules are followed. Conduct thorough courtesy inspections of equipment during service visits, including checking tire pressures, fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, etc.), filter conditions, belts, hoses, battery health, and overall machine condition. Accurately identify and report equipment defects or potential issues to the service department in a timely manner, documenting any findings with relevant details to support efficient follow-up repairs. Keep service vehicles and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations and company policies. Ensure proper disposal of used oil, filters, and other materials following environmental standards. Maintain service logs and documentation for each maintenance task completed, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of records for compliance and tracking purposes. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients or operators on job sites by being courteous, professional, and responsive to questions or concerns related to the maintenance being performed. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while working on-site or in the service shop, and actively participate in safety meetings and training. Requirements: Experience preferred in servicing heavy trucks, construction or heavy equipment. This includes oil changes, filter changes, fluid top-ups, greasing systems, and routine inspections. Valid DZ drivers license and clean abstract is an asset Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of mechanical systems (hydraulic, electrical, engine) and the ability to identify signs of wear, damage, or mechanical issues. Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
