Job Description Posted Monday, June 2, 2025 at 4:00 AM Summary: Under the supervision of Engineering manager, the incumbent will provide support to senior designers in the ongoing projects. Responsibilities: All aspects of Mechanical Design Translate and organize CAD data. Read and decipher GD&T prints. Prepare and interpret technical drawings, calculations, customer standards, and specifications. 3D modelling & conceptual design to create multiple iterations of design prototypes using CAD. Create mechanical designs on small to medium-sized tooling. Generate and organize all necessary raw materials and purchase item BOMs. Detailing and surfacing on medium to large-sized tools. Adhere to all company and ISO standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Secondary school diploma or equivalent certificate (GED) is required. Post-secondary education or certification in a related field is preferred. 2-5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
