POSITION INFORMATION Description: The position will lead the cost management and project controls reporting activities within our client's subsea project team with active participation of all necessary project stakeholders, and ensuring compliance from the planning stages through offshore execution to project closeout. Summary of Responsibilities:Responsible for implementing and executing cost control activities for the subsea projectResponsible to provide the subsea project with cost control services with active participation of all necessary project stakeholdersResponsible for monitoring committed and incurred costs, cost flows & analysis and change management process with impact on Estimate at Completion / Forecast at Completion.Responsible for providing project forecast and cost reporting for engineering and construction phasesWorking with functional counterparts to support overall month-end process per required timelinesManage the project Change Management processAssist in preparation of specific Project Management/Project Controls deliverables, including stewardship packagesSupport project funding requests Actively involved in the capture, management, incorporation and closure of opportunities, lessons learned and risks from planning through to execution and project closeoutResponsible for Project Controls financial closeout activities Required Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:Post-secondary business background preferred, with a minimum of 10 years cost control / project controls experience with preferred experience in offshore oil & gas scopesAbility to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environmentAdaptable to changing priorities and able to multitask and respond quickly to urgent requestsKnowledge of Project Management and Business Performance Measurement (KPIs)Understanding of Corporate Governance, Policies and ProceduresStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage and motivate external third partiesExcellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
