Clinical Resource Leader, Medicine Health Services (Respirology) Join to apply for the Clinical Resource Leader, Medicine Health Services (Respirology) role at Michael Garron Hospital Overview The Clinical Resource Leader (CRL) is a member of the Respirology, Progressive Weaning Center, and Internal Medicine inter-professional leadership team. The CRL demonstrates core competencies in education, staff development, inter-professional collaboration, scholarly activity, and leadership/change management. The role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and clinical processes to support safe, patient- and family-centered care. The CRL also leads practice, education, and research initiatives, contributing to nursing advancements. The CRL collaborates with the Manager to ensure safety practices, promotes evidence-based practices, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities include overseeing mandatory education, staff performance evaluations, professional growth, coaching, and supporting change initiatives. Education Undergraduate degree in Nursing. Masters in Nursing/Health Discipline or Education preferred. Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the General class. CNA certification relevant to patient population preferred. BCLS Certification required. Qualifications 3-5 years of current clinical and leadership experience in respirology, prolonged ventilation, or critical care. Knowledge of adult education theories, curriculum design, and program evaluation. Excellent communication, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills. Experience with innovative educational modalities like simulation and eLearning is an asset. Strong partnership and project management skills. Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and think critically and creatively. Organized, self-directed, and proactive. Ability to foster a healthy workplace and equitable work practices. Proficiency with MS Office and other clinical/administrative software. Active involvement in professional organizations.
