Our Toronto office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work on rail transit infrastructure projects (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars). Responsibilities include: Assist clients with conceptual design, technical feasibility, and constructability. Lead a structural design team. Coordinate with other disciplines, ensuring timely input and results. Present design options to contractors and clients. Review technical documentation for critical defects. Guide BIM modeling and drawing production. Conduct site reviews to ensure construction compliance. Develop structural details and construction plans. Review shop drawings and field services. Qualifications: Masters degree in Structural Engineering (asset). Registered P. Eng. in Ontario. 10-15 years of relevant experience in structural design and rail/transit projects. Experience with complex construction projects, including P3, infrastructure, underground LRT, and subways. Knowledge of pre-stressed concrete, precast construction, steel structures, and underground geostructures is desirable. Proficiency in SAP2000, Robot Structural Analysis, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Navisworks, Bluebeam. Understanding of relevant standards and codes. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
