Occupational Therapist As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Occupational Therapist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of clients. This dynamic professional is responsible for assessing, treating, and educating clients to maximize their independence and quality of life. Clinical Responsibilities: Assess clients, establish treatment plans, and continuously evaluate progress towards goals. Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to established standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support. Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers, providing education on treatment strategies as needed. Observe and guide those assisting in occupational therapy programs. Other Responsibilities: Remain current with ongoing internal and external education activities to enhance professional development. Comply with Bayshore Healthcare policies and procedures. Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols. Education and Qualifications: Master''s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Registered and in good standing with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists. Valid driver''s license and access to a vehicle.
