Job Title: Transportation Freight Invoice & Claims Specialist TMS Analyst (3rd party carrier invoices & claims - Logistics Transportation ) 12-month contract Manufacturing, Logistics Food, CPG Salary: 75-85K Base, vacation, bonus at the end of contract Location: Brampton- Mississauga. Hybrid: minimum 2 days a week from office Our client is a global leader in the CPG Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods industry and have a job open for Invoice & Claims Transportation Freight Specialist / TMS specialist. This role will be fully responsible for working directly with 3rd party carriers, issue Freight Claims and conduct proper follow up on non -compliance. This is a 12-month contract with a hybrid minimum 2 days a week in office- Mississauga-Brampton, ON area. You will be eligible for vacation and a bonus on contract completion. This is a 12 month contractTransportation Freight Invoice & Claims Specialist will work closely with the Transportation, Freight and Supply Chain teams to ensure correct 3rd party carriers are being issues, audit carrier invoices, ensure correct pricing and terms are implemented as per SLA, issue freight claims and make correct follow ups with 3rd party carriers to receive claim payments. You will set up new carriers on the TMS system, utilise SAP to analyse spends and create trend analysis to see any cost and freight improvement possibilities and initiatives on consolidation of freight and other CI opportunities . This is an operational Continuous Improvement role, issue claims, write revise SOPs around freight claims and improve carrier performance.Transportation Freight Invoice & Claims Specialist will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience working closely with 3rd party carriers on Freight Claims, managing invoicing, writing revising SOPs. Strong MS Excel skills are a MUST, Degree or Diploma in transportation / Freight / Logistics , CCLP or similar Supply Chain / Logistics designations are highly preferred. 2-3 years experience on TMS (Transportation Management System) SAP, EDI is ideal.
