Summary The role of the Service Advisor is unique within the automotive industryequal parts vehicle service expert and luxury experience ambassador. You will be the critical link between the Guests acquisition of their new Genesis luxury vehicle and a highly satisfying Ownership experiencefrom understanding and anticipating their service needs and preferences, to providing exceptional appointment scheduling and vehicle intake experiences, to ensuring all requested work is completed and the vehicle is returned to the Guest when promised in near showroom condition. Genesis offers flexibility in how Guests experience ownershipfrom At Home concierge services at their home or office to visiting the Ownership department and enjoying the Guest loungewith the benefit of a Genesis Courtesy vehicle either way. As a Service Advisor, you will ensure every Guest contactfrom appointment to vehicle pick-up, work order explanation, and vehicle returnis easy, comfortable, efficient, and exceptional each time. Core Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the Guests Ownership experience, including responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or text. Proactively book service appointments to maximize Guest convenience. Address Guest questions and concerns thoroughly to ensure understanding and confidence. Coordinate vehicle pick-up, Courtesy vehicle drop-off, and vehicle return with the Valet team, ensuring Guest preferences are met. Provide valet/concierge services directly if required. Welcome owners upon arrival and ensure they feel valued. Prepare work orders and Courtesy vehicles in advance for prompt vehicle intake. Offer a luxury hospitality experience, including access to the Guest Lounge. Understand the scope of work for each vehicle and confirm with the Guest. Listen actively to document comments and concerns for diagnosis. Update Guests on vehicle status and timing using their preferred communication methods. Ensure all work is completed, vehicles are clean, and returned on time. Explain all work and fees to Guests, reinforcing the value of the Genesis 5-Year Care Plan. Advise on future maintenance needs. Follow-up within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction. Provide an elevated, personalized Guest experience with professionalism and warmth. Skills & Qualifications Ability to build rapport with diverse Guests and colleagues. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Hospitality and Guest service mindset. Attention to detail and understanding of guest expectations. Experience in retail or hospitality roles is a strong asset. Creative problem-solving skills and persistence. Professional appearance and demeanor. Proficiency with software such as Excel, Salesforce, DMS, and social media platforms; willingness to learn. Flexibility to work at multiple locations, including onsite and offsite. Post-secondary education or training is an asset but not required. Willingness to obtain a provincial automotive retail license.
