Summary The role of Sales Consultant is unique within the automotive industryequal parts luxury vehicle expert and luxury experience ambassador. You will be the main point of contact for Guests throughout their Genesis Acquisition journeyfrom understanding their needs and preferences, to providing exceptional test drive and delivery experiences, to answering all product and finance related questions, and ensuring a warm transition to the Genesis Ownership team. A Genesis hallmark is the flexibility offered to Guests in how they prefer their Acquisition experiencefrom digital to in-person or a combination of both, including providing Guests with Genesis at Home concierge services at their home or office. Our Sales Consultants represent the pinnacle of professionalism and service excellence within the automotive industry. Core responsibilities Welcoming all Guests to Genesis and enhancing their experience with the brand. Managing all aspects of your Guests acquisition of a New or Genesis Certified vehicle, including: Promptly acknowledging and responding to all leads from the Genesis.ca and distributor websites, social media accounts, digital ads, telephone, email, and in-person inquiries. Establishing rapport with each Guest. Recording Guest details and preferences in Salesforce and using this knowledge to personalize the experience. Proactively maintaining contact with Guests throughout the acquisition process according to their preferred method of contact. Providing test drive experiences according to Guest preferences. Responding promptly and transparently to all Guest questions regarding vehicles, accessories, protection products, pricing, and financing. Facilitating the appraisal of the Guests trade-in vehicle if applicable. Supporting and educating Guests interested in their first battery electric vehicle to ensure confidence with driving dynamics, charging options, mobile apps, and ownership costs. Ensuring an exceptional vehicle delivery experience, including the offer of a reconnect/second delivery appointment. Providing a comfortable, confidence-inspiring transition to the Genesis Ownership team. Providing an elevated experience to each Guest consistent with Genesis Luxury Guest Experience Standards, with emphasis on: Personalizing the experience based on Guest preferences. Displaying gracious and professional behavior at every touchpoint (in-person, digital, or by telephone), minimizing Guest inconvenience and time commitment. Offering exceptional hospitality to visiting Guests. Establishing a trusted advisor relationship with each Guest and maintaining it throughout the ownership experience. Maintaining expert knowledge of all Genesis vehicles, technologies, services, and programs, including key competitive brands and models. You may also be assigned additional responsibilities by your General Manager. Skills & Qualifications Easily building rapport with Guests and colleagues across diverse ethnic, gender, and age groups. Being a great listener with above-average verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt to different Guest personalities, styles, and motivations. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Possessing a hospitality and Guest service mindset. Paying attention to details and understanding their importance to discerning Guests. Experience in retail or hospitality roles providing exceptional Guest experiences is a strong asset. Being a creative problem-solver with a willingness to go above and beyond, with patience and persistence. Presenting yourself professionally with impeccable personal care. Proficiency with software applications like Excel, Salesforce, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and social media platforms, or willingness to learn. Flexibility to work in multiple locations, including onsite at the Genesis Retail Experience Centre and offsite at Guest homes or offices. Post-secondary education or training certifications are assets but not required. Holding a provincial automotive retail license or willingness to obtain one.
