The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process. **Key Responsibilities:** * Process and post customer payments via various methods (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers). * Generate and send out account statements. * Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * Maintain accurate records and update customer information in the system. * Assist with month-end closing and reporting. * Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service regarding billing issues. * Additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications and Skills:** * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field would be considered an asset. * 13 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software would be considered an asset. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Commitment to safety standards and practices.
