Role: Disability Case ManagerLocation: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto (1 Day in office)Length: 6 Month Contract to PermanentRate: $40/hourHours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 4:30pm EST What Youll DoAssessed and managed disability claims (short-term, long-term, and salary continuance) with a focus on timely and fair resolution.Led recovery planning by identifying medical and non-medical factors, functional capabilities, and return-to-work readiness.Applied crisis intervention and rehabilitation techniques to support clients through challenging health transitions.Utilized data and analytics to inform decisions and identify trends in recovery and return-to-work outcomes.Built strong, trust-based relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare providers.Communicated with empathy and clarity, guiding clients through their absence and return-to-work journey. What You Need to SucceedPrevious healthcare experience in areas such as nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and mental health support.Earned a Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Kinesiology, or Business.Accumulated over 10 years of professional experience, ideally within healthcare or case management settings.Excellent experience in Crisis Intervention, Case Management and Rehabilitation TechniquesBilingualism in French and English (oral and written) is not required but considered an asset for supporting clients across Canada and internationally.Demonstrated strong analytical and decision-making skills.Exhibited resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, emotionally complex situations.Comfortable using digital tools and navigating multiple platforms.Embraced a collaborative, team-first mindset.
