Job Title

Our client is a systems integration firm specializing in MES and SCADA solutions. They are actively looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer to join the team in their Markham office on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for leading and contributing to requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and commissioning of SCADA and MES solutions.Responsibilities:Design and develop SCADA, PLC and MES applications and systems.Deliver successful implementations as per client requirements, budget, and schedule.Write technical documentation including requirements specifications, design specifications, and test protocols for SCADA, PLC and MES solutions.Provide advice and technical consultation to clients.Install and commission systems at client facilities.Develop and deliver end-user training.Provide ongoing support to clients.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred).3+ years of AVEVA (formerly Wonderware) or Ignition SCADA experience required.3+ years of Rockwell or Schneider PLC programming experience.Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other database technologies.Proven experience commissioning solutions in production environment.Demonstrated success in project execution, collaboration with team members and clients.Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to be client-facing and work directly with clients, including consulting experience including requirements gathering and on-site commissioning.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skill.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is required.Willingness to travel to client sites.
