Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and inspecting CNC machines to produce high-quality components with tight tolerances.The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machinesInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specificationsProgram CNC machines using G-code, M-code, or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMLead setup and troubleshooting of complex jobsCollaborate with engineers on process optimizationMentor junior machinists and support workload planningMaintain safe work practices and quality standardsPerform routine machine maintenanceQualificationsRed Seal Machinist Certification (or equivalent)510 years of CNC machining experience (aerospace or high-precision environment preferred)Strong knowledge of machining principles, materials, tooling, and cutting conditionsProficient in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and GD&TSkilled in the use of precision measuring toolsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and leadership abilities
